This logo was chosen by university lecturers and students to be the winner of a competition run by the University of Wollongong to create a logo for the student-run radio station Radio U. The head of Journalism wanted a logo that was bold, timeless, inclusive and approachable.
I created the dynamic wordmark and radio-wave inspired logo to be able to change its colours to match certain events or times of year. Whether it was rainbow for Pride Week or red, black and yellow for Naidoc Week, the logo would still remain recognisable for the Radio U brand.
My logo is now used across all touch points of the University of Wollongong's radio station.
